Personally, the game was a perfect score for me. Everyone will say that the game is the top one to this day, and this is so. But there are still some disadvantages, and I will describe them in detail.

1. Usually AWP is the coolest thing, but shooting through it makes its reputation worse, as many players complain that the textures are too thin, and they can be shot through by AWP, thereby killing the player. CS 1.6 is already 15 years old, but it has still not completely lost its popularity. This did not happen mainly due to its loyal fans who still have not left the game for the new and graphically improved CS:S or CS:GO. And it’s clear why, because the game has simple and extraordinary gameplay, familiar maps and simple, albeit very outdated and annoying graphics after new releases. If you still haven’t played it, then this is the time to catch up on everything you’ve missed over the years and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the early 2000s, when people were not yet very spoiled by graphics and no one cared about them.

An excellent and legendary mod that has grown into a full-fledged game. It appeared from the no less legendary Half-Life. The gameplay is very easy to describe and it is good. Online shooter. The graphics were downloaded from Halfa. Redrawn graphics of course. But stylistically one feels close to Halfa. Moreover, the game was in cyber sports as a discipline.

One of the clearest examples of how a mod for a game (Half Life) becomes a separate game, and at the same time is not inferior in popularity and greatness to its parent. Version 1.6 became the most widespread all over the world, very soon after the release of CS became the main team game in e-sports. And she remained so for a very long time...

In general, explaining what Counter Strike is is not a grateful task. Some will react with bewilderment, saying, “He really explains what “Contra” is?! The reaction of others will be: “What CS? I still can’t understand why there are people on our planet who still play this garbage?
